In a 2017 Design Excellence Competition Developer HPG Australia and the City of Sydney selected the winning design team for amixed-use development in Alexandria being MHNDU and Silvester Fuller for the architectural component, Sue Barnsley for landscape design and Make architects for interiors.

The 21,000 m2site, located in Alexandria is nestled within Sydney’s third-largest park the 44-hectareSydney Park. The development will comprise 356 apartments and a range of commercial and cultural uses across eight, six-storey buildings. In a joint statement the design team stated that “Our vision for One Sydney Park is the creation of a place that resonates and extends the ecology of the adjoining parkland.
